Fantasy/Bird Paintings

Before I moved to Iowa and started painting the rural countryside I did fantasy and bird paintings.  Birds, especially birds of prey, conveyed to me a strong sense of strength and freedom and I tried to emphasize these attributes.  In the future I can see me combining the fantasy and iowa landscape efforts in my new work.
